This is a project of the Bennett family to remember Benjamin Joseph and his many positive contributions to the world. Though he was taken from us tragically at only 21 years old, he is fondly remembered by many people. His grave site located in his childhood home of Raymond, NH is frequented by family and friends, little notes are left for him, and tears are often shed. This website is intended to serve as an online resource to pool pictures and memories for everyone who loves and misses Ben, and as a resource for the Foundation and scholarship founded by his family in his honor.

This year (2024), on the one year anniversary of his passing, will be our first year of fundraising to begin a scholarship fund in Ben's memory. This scholarship will go to students who require financial assistance and are pursuing a degree in the medical field, specifically medical school.
Tragically, Ben was not able to complete his ultimate goal of becoming a neuro-surgeon, but he was a hard worker with many talents and abilities, and we are confident he would have succeeded.
Ben received a lot of help from his workplace, Portsmouth Regional Hospital (where he worked in the surgical sterilization unit as a supervisor), as well as his school, the University of New Hampshire. He always expressed how fortunate he was for the opportunities he was given, and worked hard to give back whenever he could.
We believe if he were able to complete his medical degree, he would have found ways to continue giving back. In that spirit, this scholarship and non-profit have been created to honor Ben's legacy and give back to those who are pursuing similar goals.
The healthcare industry needs dedicated, competent, and compassionate professionals who are provided the opportunities and financial security to dedicate themselves completely to learning their profession and helping their patients. We hope that this fund will serve to accomplish some of the goals that Ben had for his life, in service to healthcare and his community.
